  • I attended Anawalt K-8. The teachers and the principal knew the students by name. I was as well prepared for high school as students from any of the other feeder schools. I graduated top in my class, received a college scholarship to my choice university (and others), and graduated with honors in a class of over 3500. I formed lifelong friendships with students several years older and younger than me, as well as classmates. I participated in band and choir as well as multiple academic programs. I was a substitute cheerleader and also cheered my friends and family from the stands in a variety of sporting events.
