  • I went to this school from 1990- 1996. My time there was great. Sure that was 13 years ago but you never forget where you came from and what you learned from there. Since I've left they've changed the school district's up a bit. My old house located at 1728 Chesapeake Ave was just across the canal bank. Now is school district for bret harte. I've never went there so therefore i can't say if it was a good school or not. But the fairview falcons was my school growing up and sometimes still wish i could participate in recess or eat in the cafeteria.

the faculty was stern and productive, many of my class was honors(not me though lol) teachers were always involved in a student's life. they cared what went on both in the classroom and out since they all were parents themselves. i can't say that i've seen the campus lately so i don't know if they've changed the layout of the playground. I do remember: 6 or more basketball courts, 2 handball walls, monkey bars, jungle gyms, 3 baseball fields, and a soccer field.

homework wasn't given in huge proportions. A couple of assignments a night kept the brain working and it was never on something the teacher never went over unless you has the expanded mind of exceeding and doing the next nights assignment.
